DESCRIPTION:
'The Trio' began as a real-time response to the sound and movements of three musicians . Over two sessions, Flora Wong (violin), Lisa Tran Kelly (harp) and Hannah Reardon Smith (flute) performed an improvised set live in the gallery. Working in pencil, acrylic and oil stick, Briony has worked back into the composition on her own, both between live sessions and afterwards. The key at the top and bottom of the piece show the order in which different colours and marks were added.
